One online application covers all five of the Foundation’s national scholarships: the Betty Stevens-Frecknall Scholarship, the Kevin Jetton Service Scholarship, the William R. Reaugh Scholarship, the John W. Council Scholarship, and the Dave Sanders Memorial Scholarship. Submitting the form below automatically places you in consideration for every award you are eligible for.

Only information submitted through this online application will be considered by the selection committee during semi-finalist selection. Please do not mail documents to the Foundation offices or to board members.

If you are selected as a semi-finalist, the Chair of the Scholarship Selection Committee will contact you and ask for an official transcript (as proof of GPA) and an official current class schedule (as proof of enrollment). Award decisions are made during the summer, with preliminary notifications going out by September 1. The email address you provide must remain accessible through the following November.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

• Declared computer science, CIS, MIS, or IT major with an overall and major GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
• Satisfactory completion of at least one full semester of college (12 semester hours or equivalent)
• Enrolled full time (12 semester hours or equivalent) as an undergraduate at an accredited institution in the United States
• U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident
