ISECON

ISECON: The Information Systems Education Conference

In 1982, the Foundation created this first-of-its-kind event to promote high-quality IS education. Forty-one conferences later, ISECON remains a fixture of the IS education community.

Each year, the Foundation hosts the Information Systems Education Conference (ISECON), bringing together information systems educators from around the world. Leading educators and technology experts meet to share current and emerging technology, curricular issues, and development techniques, while establishing and strengthening industry-academic relationships. For many years, ISECON was held in concert with the Conference on Information Systems Applied Research (CONISAR), with management support from the Education Special Interest Group (EDSIG) of the Association of Information Technology Professionals. Those conferences are now their own independent events.
